Earlier this year, a stem cell transplant was performed on Kailani in hopes it would help. She is unsure if it has helped her daughter's CP symptoms, but she has seen improvements in her asthma and other health problems.

 Sitting in her car outside the church where family and friends celebrated the life of her husband, Larry Pryor, Arlissa Dockery waits for the rest of the caravan that will carry Pryor to his final resting place at Lincoln Memorial Cemetery. "Sure we had our problems, but I loved him and was with him to the very end," Dockery said. After months of suffering from cancer, Pryor died in his wife's arms at their home in Aurora, Ill.
